Cortez Davis testified in his trial that he was defending himself when he swung the bottle. But jurors rejected the self-defense claim and found him guilty of second-degree murder in the death of Debra Williams.

I'm sick and tired of hearing stories like this. Someone just walks into a store, buys a beer bottle and then goes out and kills someone. Lawmakers take heed the American public is sick and tired of all the senseless killing done with beer bottles. You must immediately pass strict beer bottle control laws.

Those hand-held mirrors kept on sets and used by anchors could also be deemed dangerous.
