From the...WHAT THE HELL?

You know, I thought the often politically correct crazies in California went too far. I was incorrect.. There are even crazier people in another country.

The link below is from a newspaper in the U.K.

Some one across the pond has come up with bullshit idea. Have Santa Claus slim down, yes loose the trademark jolly round belly. According to these "Thin huggers" Santa and his fatness sets a bad example to today's young people.

First of all, we do take offense at being labeled a politially correct group just because we live in California.
Yes, we do ocassionally hug trees for the sake of our children and their children and their children etc----
We do trade in artery clogging bacon on ocassion for turkey bacon.
But with everything, while we look at the bigger picture of everything and how it effects all people as a whole, we must appeal to the people of the world to SAVE SANTA as we know him, as we all grew up with him, as the stories about Santa tell us and describe him as a jolly ole man.
There is a point to be PC, but this is not one of them.
It is time to join and fight for the politically correctness of being allowed to celebrate what is first and foremost a Christian religious holiday--- and not disband the celebration by tagging it as "winter festivals" to appease others.
They too have their own religious celebrations which we all respect and mention.
We must also fight to stop these retailers like WAL-MART--- from bring black friday in 3 weeks before it should happen, from mentioning Christmas sales before Halloween.
Christmas is a time to be joyous, not a time to take the joy away because part of the celebration is the Feast of Christmas.
Give us all a break Mr. Cuba.
If you actually want to know what we think, walk away from the world you're currently chained in and explore it.

California crazies?
WE ARE PROUD of your moniker.
At least our eyes our open to all different perspectives of the issues, and we have the freedom to make choices on what we see because we live in AMERICA.
But here, Mr-I-WAS-BORN-IN-A-SMALL-CUBAN-FISHING-VILLAGE, we are in agreement.
Santa, Sinterclaus, Kris Kringle all are remembered as jolly old men, as the famous the night before christmas shows us.
( although, in northern europe, the original Kris Kringle was indeed "thinner" than the current day replication)
In any event, let us all worship and celebrate the upcoming holidays whatever our religion, isn't that more PC than anything else?

What the hell, let's all just become vegan, raw food, frutarian birkenstock wearing, pot smoking tree huggers that way we don't have to bother with being enveloped in the political correctness terminology.
And to the strikers--- believe in what' you're doing for the future of the industry!
