My old boss was big on self education. “Read everything you can get your hands on and don’t rely on rumors or tall tales, research the facts for your selves” This he would tell all the news staff almost on a daily basis. Tonight I was watching a program on the history of US economy. The host went out and posed the following question; “who was the last president to shrunk the national debt to its lowest? A couple of people answered the same as most of you are thinking, President Clinton. NO! He didn’t!!!!!!. The correct answer is President Andrew Jackson. The other question posed, why did we lose jobs to Mexico and other countries? Several people answered correctly NAFTA. Ok, next question, who signed NASTA into law? Again a lot of people got it wrong, number one answer George Bush, second wrong answer, Ronald Reagan, correct answer, President Clinton. (If anyone doubts what I’m writing, look it up-self educate) I’m not attempting to bash President Clinton, however, please get the facts straight. President Clinton was not a great president; his claim to fame was that he was a good looking charismatic politician who liked his Cuban cigar smoked, - if you know what I mean - nothing more. President Bush (43) was not a great president either; however don’t blame 911 on him. The attacks occurred just several months after he took office. The planning and preparations for the terrorist attacks occurred under President Clinton. Personal thought Conversation at the White house oval office. White house staff member runs into the oval office. “Mr. President, Mr. President, we found Bin Laden, what should we do?” President Clinton. “Don’t bother me now. Get out of here, Monica!!!!!!!”
